Treatment Time: 45 minutes
Longevity: 2 + Years
Sculptra isn’t just a dermal filler–it replenishes your face’s collagen supply to create natural, long-lasting results. Over time, Sculptra’s compounds boost collagen creation, combatting volume loss in the cheeks, temple, and mid-face. The result: a gradual, natural transition to your more youthful look. Say good-bye to fine lines and wrinkles!
Sculptra has been FDA approved since 2004 for use in the face for volume loss. Sculptra works by stimulating your own body to produce collagen in response to the Poly L Lactic Acid, it’s main component.
The correction is seen immediately but that subsides rather quickly because it is mostly saline. Over the next few weeks, collagen is gradually built up from the injections, and the appearance of your results improve. Optimal results usually occur 2-3 months after the Sculptra treatment, and commonly last somewhere between 2 to 3 years, varying on a case-by-case basis. Side effects are rare, with the most common being swelling, bruising and redness around the treatment site.
Sculptra is different in that it stimulates the body to create its own collagen and thus give clients a very natural and smooth appearance to the injected area. The Sculptra can be injected evenly though out many different areas to give a natural and soft augmentation.
Collagen is a key structural component of smooth, healthy-looking skin. As you age, your body’s collagen production decreases. In fact, you lose about 1% of collagen per year after the age of 18.5 This is when you may start to notice the formation of wrinkles. Luckily, Sculptra Aesthetic can help, even if decades of collagen loss have already occurred.

Who is a good Candidate for SCULPTRA?
Those looking to improve the look of fine lines, deep creases, and a loss of facial volume can find Sculptra to be extremely beneficial. An ideal patient for the noninvasive treatment will be someone in overall good health, understands the dermal filler process, and has realistic expectations for their results. Anyone with a known allergy to Lidocaine, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Lupus, pregnant, or nursing should not have a treatment with Sculptra.
How long will my results last?
Sculptra can be injected over a period of time to produce the desired result. Because Sculptra is collagen stimulant, the results will become more apparent over the following months. We usually use multiple (2 or more) vials of Sculptra over a series of 2 to 3 injection treatments, and we see excellent results from that as well! This is a great option if you aren’t sure how much volume you truly need. A customized treatment plan is important for achieving the best results. This allows our healthcare professionals to tailor treatment to meet your unique needs. Book your consultation with one of our providers for your custom treatment plan. Collagen created in your body can last up to 7 years, so you’ll see the results of your Sculptra for years to come. You can also re-inject sculptra to prolong the effects of your treatment.
